Amova Asset Management Co., Ltd. (formerly Nikko Asset Management Co., Ltd., hereinafter “Amova AM”) President & CEO Stefanie Drews was recognised on 26 November 2025 as International Investment Woman of the Year at the Investment Week Women in Investment Awards 2025. The awards are bestowed by Investment Week, a multi-media platform serving the UK investment community and a champion for diversity in the asset management industry.

The category of International Investment Woman of the Year is open to women based outside the UK, but who work closely with the UK investment industry and whose overall achievements have helped drive change and raise the profile of the investment sector as an excellent career choice for women either through education, training, leadership, mentoring or acting as a role model. 

Stefanie award curved corners

Stefanie has been a strong advocate for advancing women in finance and promoting inclusive leadership, consistently addressing media and investors on these topics across the UK, Japan and other global markets. As President and CEO, Stefanie also deepened ties between the UK and Japan—speaking at the UK Asset Management seminar and business roundtable—and led the firm in maintaining its position as a global signatory of the UK Stewardship Code, the highest standard for stewardship. Stefanie is the first non-Japanese female leader of a major Japanese asset manager.
